Flour, Grains & Seeds Cool Chile Co White Corn Tortillas

These soft 15cm white corn flour tortillas are fantastic for making large tacos, filled with smoky pulled pork or Mexican cheese. Or use them for thinner quesadillas, enchiladas or burritos. Cut the tortilla into strips or triangles and deep fry to make your own tortilla chips.

Easy to roll and shape – these larger tortillas are a great choice for baja fish tacos, which use generous battered fillets of white fish. For best results, heat the tortillas one at a time in a dry frying pan on both sides until it browns. Keep your tortillas warm in a tortilla warmer, and serve them in the middle of the table.

These tortillas are freshly made in the UK, so the shelf life is short, perhaps only 1-2 weeks- but if you want to stock up, they can be stored in the freezer for up to a month. 

Each pack contains a baker’s dozen, or 13 tortillas.

Ingredients: Masa harina (ground nixtamalized corn), water, sea salt, preservatives (calcium propionate, potassium sorbate).

Allergy Advice: Made in a factory that handles nuts and sesame.

Storage: Keep in a cool dry place and consume by use by date. Once open, keep refrigerated. Vacuum packed.

Suitable for freezing: Freeze on day of purchase and consume within 1 month. To cook from frozen, prise one tortilla off at a time and heat it in a hot pan on both sides, or defrost in the packet overnight in the fridge.
